Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors who submit manuscripts to the Pakistan Journal of Biomedical Engineering (PJOBME) agree to the following terms as part of the submission process:
Copyright of the published article remains with the author(s), while PJOBME is granted the right of first publication. The published work is licensed under terms that allow PJOBME to distribute and archive the article in print and electronic formats.
Authors grant PJOBME the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and display the work as part of the journal issue and its indexing in databases. The journal may also share the article with indexing services, repositories, and academic platforms to ensure wide dissemination of the research.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submission is original and does not infringe on any existing copyrights. If the manuscript includes copyrighted material (such as figures, tables, or excerpts), it is the author’s responsibility to obtain written permission for reuse.
By submitting to PJOBME, authors confirm that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere. Any breach of copyright or ethical standards is the responsibility of the authors.
All articles published in PJOBME may be archived and made accessible for academic and non-commercial use, supporting the dissemination of scientific knowledge in biomedical engineering and sciences.
